ABOUT BORDEN & BORDEN

Lance and Julie Borden met in 2009 and married in 2010. Both virtually grew up in real estate and construction, and it was a key point of discussion on their first date. Lance's mom and dad built and sold homes when he was a child, while Julie's mom and grandparents ran a single family rental property business throughout her growing up years. Together, real estate as a business became a central theme in their marriage. For more than a decade, the Bordens have owned, managed, rehabbed, bought and sold DFW area real estate.

Lance graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1999, He spent five years in the Army, including a deployment to Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 that earned him the Bronze Star Medal. After working in marketing management and product management roles for Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies in California and Texas, Lance acquired his real estate license in 2015 followed by his broker license in 2020. Though the original intent of getting a real estate license was to represent their own transactions as investors, Lance began helping friends and family with their real estate transactions. In the process, he fell in love with helping others realize their real estate goals and dreams.
